Salvation and the Work of Christ

Christians talk a lot about being saved, but few really understand the many nuances of this gift from God or even how to explain the process! Here are some tools to help flesh out the important beliefs about salvation. If you are not sure about faith, please look at the Gospel Presentation first. If you are a Christian and will read only one thing, make it the Foundations of Faith paper, which is the most comprehensive.

For more information about the many beliefs included in the idea of salvation, see Charles Ryrie’s Basic Theology [pp.319-394], Wayne Grudem’sSystematic Theology [pp.657-852], John Stott’s The Cross of Christ, or Bruce Demarest’s The Cross and Salvation.
